What are the advantages of a compact benchtop bioreactor?

A compact benchtop bioreactor is the right measure between flasks and industrial-scale products. You get far greater control and precision over the culture process parameters than you get using flasks, but you can still work with small volumes and avoid waste. Compact, lab-scale bioreactors are easy to handle, clean and sterilize. They let you control the process remotely, so you won’t have to interrupt your weekend just to feed your cells.

Gas Mixing

Thermal mass flow controllers (MFC) allow precise flow rate control of individual gasses. Up to 5 MFCs can be configured within each PCS cube & integrated to the controlling software. This enables flexible aeration options for a wide range of applications.

User-friendly Software

Solaris controlling software offers a simply laid out, yet powerful platform for experimental design planning and process control. The graphical user interface enables the intuitive selection & adjustment of control functions.

Extracted data is compatible with Window Excel, but in addition, Solaris offers a platform where fermentation data can be easily exported in real time & thus managed. This software is included in supply and can be installed on an unlimited number of the client’s PC or laptops.

Solaris Logic Parser:

The Solaris Logic Parser plug-in, integrated to Leonardo 3.0 as standard, gives users the additional capability of customized control by relating all available process variables with common conditional statements.
